This panorama, photographed by James Blakeway, captures the excitement of a winning field goal for a ‘come from behind’ victory against the Dallas Cowboys with 27 seconds left on the clock on September 11, 2011. The club was founded in 1960 as the Titans of New York and won their first game at the New York Polo Grounds, playing against Buffalo. The well-known green and white uniforms came about in 1963 when the club was renamed the New York Jets. Owner Woody Johnson purchased the club in 2000 and, under his ownership, visited the playoffs a record five times through the 2000s. The Jets delivered the first true home field in their history in 2010 and, are well on their way to delivering the best game day experiences in the NFL.Framing Options:
