This panorama captures the sights from LaVell Edwards Stadium on game day, with the BYU football team playing against the Utah Utes, a Pac-12 opponent on August 29, 2019. Originally named Cougar Stadium, this facility opened in 1964 with a seating capacity of 45,000. The venue was renamed to LaVell Edwards Stadium on November 18, 2000 after legendary coach LaVell Edwards. Today, the venue can seat over 60,000 BYU fans cheering on their favorite in the Football Bowl Subdivision. BYU Football home games are played at the base of the Wasatch Mountains, and consistently ranks among the top 25 in attendance nationally.
