This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, captures the West Virginia Mountaineers scoring a touchdown in their Big 12 Conference opener against the Oklahoma Sooners at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium on September 20, 2014. Since the facility opened in 1980, more than 11 million people have watched games at Mountaineer Field. Following a day of pregame festivities, more than 60,000 energized fans jam-packed the stadium, striping it in Old Gold and Blue based on their seat locations, while a national television audience tuned in to see WVU kick off its third season in the Big 12 against the Sooners.
