This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, spotlights the on-court action between the Utah Runnin' Utes and the San Diego State Aztecs at Jon M. Huntsman Center. This nationally televised game marked the Utes annual "Stripe the Huntsman" event. To create the splendid stripes shown in the crowd, fans were encouraged to represent their section by wearing red or white depending on their ticket location, resulting in an impressive display of Utah pride. This game was one of 16 college basketball games played within a 24-hour non-stop marathon period signifying the start of the season.
