This panoramic photo, taken on October 24, 2025, spotlights the inaugural hockey game in the new, on campus, Lee & Penny Anderson Arena at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. Designed as a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose venue, the 250,000-square-foot arena seats 4,000 for hockey and was designed to reflect the campus’s Gothic architecture on the exterior while integrating modern sports venue elements on the interior. The Tommies won the game in dramatic fashion with a shootout against the #15 Providence Friars.
