In Past Restorations, I Have Sanded Every Part Down To The 'Bone', But This Time I Decided To Just Apply Some New Paint Over The Exisiting Paint....
Just Like It Was Done When This Seat Was In The Ballpark!
- The Color Scheme Chosen Above WAS Sported On Some Seats Used In The Polo Grounds That Escaped The "Kelly Green" Coat Of Paint In 1962, When The Ballpark Was "Spruced" Up For The Mets Two Year Tenure While Shea Stadium Was Being Built.
-All Of The Wooden Parts & Frames Of This Seat Are Genuine Polo Grounds Parts ..... Only A Few Nuts & Bolts Have Been Replaced.
