This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, celebrates the 150th matchup of the historic rivalry between the Lafayette Leopards and the Lehigh Mountain Hawks on November 22, 2014. Dating back to 1884, Lafayette and Lehigh have faced off on the gridiron more than any other college football teams in the country. Lafayette College and Lehigh University, two Division I schools located 16 miles apart in eastern Pennsylvania, began dueling one year after standardized football rules were instituted in the U.S. While much has changed since then, including the shape of the football, the invention of the helmet and even the forward pass, the Rivalry is still the most played and longest continuous rivalry in college football.
