This panoramic photo captures the team runout as the Cincinnati took to the field at Nippert Stadium. 2024 marks the 100th anniversary of Nippert Stadium. James Gamble "Jimmy" Nippert was a standout center for the Bearcats who tragically died on Christmas day in 1923 from an injury sustained in the Thanksgiving Day game a month earlier. In his memory, his grandfather, James N. Gamble, funded the completion of UC stadium which was renamed James Gamble Nippert Memorial Stadium on November 8, 1924.
