This panoramic photo, taken on January 2, 2026, captures the opening faceoff between the New York Rangers and the back-to-back defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers in the 2026 NHL Winter Classic at loanDepot Park, home of the MLB's Miami Marlins, in Miami, Florida. This was the first-ever outdoor NHL hockey game in Florida and with temperatures in the 60's, the "Miami Ice" event was a sellout.
