This panoramic photo, taken on April 8, 2024, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, captures the opening tip-off of the 2024 NCAA National Championship Game between two #1 seeds, the UConn Huskies, and the Purdue Boilermakers. After one of their best seasons in program history, this was Purdue's first time in the Final Four since 1980 and their first time playing for the championship title since 1969. Conversely, the UConn Huskies were the defending champions trying to earn the elusive repeat. In the end, the Huskies defeated Purdue, 75-60, and became just the eighth team in NCAA men's basketball history to win back-to-back championships.
