The stadium sits in the heart of the Southern Miss campus and is home to a number of Golden Eagle football greats. Southern Miss began playing football in 1912 and owns the highest winning percentage among Division I programs in the State of Mississippi. The rivalry between Southern Miss and Mississippi State dates back to 1935.
