This nationally televised, regular season event is part of the Heritage Classic series of outdoor NHL® ice hockey games in Canada. The Heritage Classic series are match-ups between Canadian teams and this game in the series celebrates the legendary rivalry that was born a century ago, between Vancouver and Ottawa. At the end of the day, the Senators prevailed with a final score of 4 to 2. The first NHL Heritage Classic was held in 2003.
