The panoramic photo captures the kickoff for the season opener for the UTEP Miners and their in-state rival, the North Texas Mean Green at the Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, Texas on August 27, 2022. With 45,971 tickets sold, it was the first sell-out for the Miners since 2008. Despite the weather and lightning strikes in the area delaying the start of the game, thousands of enthusiastic fans showed up to support their team.
